Evanston is home to the new Whiskey thief Tavern. The team behind Pearl Tavern, Bar 63 and Bar Marta decided to open up a whiskey restaurant/bar in Evanston. They offer a wide-ranging menu from wings and burgers to salmon and ribeye. Included is a collection of over 70 whiskies, beer flights and 24 wines by the glass. You can sit down and enjoy a nice dinner or go to the back of the bar where there's a cozy library lounge perfect for sipping whiskey in front of the faux fire and huge TV screen. Definitely a good escape from the city if you're looking for something fun and different. Whiskey Thief Tavern is located at 616 Davis St. in Evanston and open until 2am on weekends.
