Katana, LA's Japanese import is now in Chicago. Katana sushi & restaurant provides luxury dining in River North. Katana is located right by the famous Marina City Towers and the Hotel Chicago. The Sunset Strip restaurant debuted in 2002 in LA, built a loyal following of stars and has been successful ever since. They then opened a second location in Dubai in 2015 and now Chicago in 2017. The robatayaki uses charcoal from Japan, and the sushi aims to innovate. They also offer Japanese whiskey, cocktails and sake. If you go, you have to try the carnival dessert.
